The table that I set for my boys.

Tasty whoopie pies that I made.

Last weekend we headed down to Mark’s hometown to celebrate Oliver’s birthday with all of the family in Central Arkansas.  What a fabulous day!

Charlie had a blast with all of his second cousins...

and Oliver was thrilled about more cake!

Both boys opened Oliver’s gifts.

The boys have also been having so much fun together lately.  I think that Charlie loves that Ollie is up walking around now.  He is his built-in playmate!

We celebrated Fat Tuesday this week.

The non choking hazard way for the preschooler to get the baby.

Today, we celebrated cousin Bennett’s 1st birthday!!  Auntie and Uncle did such a fabulous job with his “B” party!!  Oh, how we love that little Bennett!

He is one popular baby!

I hope he got enough gifts ;)

Also, after Ollie turned one, he started baby school.  He is going where Charlie went before he started the New School.  The first few days of it were pretty rough on the little guy because he was so use to being with my Mom and Grandmother.  He got adjusted quickly and had a really good week this week!

We have also been gearing up for the beach since we go in little under a month.  We are going the week after Spring Break since I have a work meeting that is interfering.   Charlie literally talks about going every.single.day!  Auntie and I ordered these little chairs for the babies.  Can you say adorable?!?

I ordered these from Etsy...can’t wait to build some big sandcastles with them!

Well, that is what all we have been up to in the last two weeks!  We are going to have a pretty low key rest of the weekend.  We are having dinner with friends tonight, church tomorrow and then Mark and I are going on a date to Crystal Bridges.    Can’t wait to see it (and I can’t believe that we haven’t been yet)!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

-Jess

P.S.  I wanted to remember some of the things that Charlie has said lately because that child makes us go hmmmmmmm a lot of the time.

-He told me that Nemo is not just a fish but a clown fish.

-He went to the bathroom the other day and then told me not to worry because he washed his hands and now they smell as fresh as daisies.

-We have been talking about putting a pool in and he sat at breakfast this morning and told us that first we would need to dig a really big hole, then we would fill it in with concrete and after that fill it with water.

-He read a book of four letter words the other day with Mimi that she used with her kindergarten kids.  He was looking at another book with her and told her there was a chameleon in the tree.

-He loves adding things up and can add, for examples 2 + 3=5.

-He told me that he really liked this frisbee ball because it reminded him of the solar system.  He told me that it really looked like Saturn.
